BRADLEY’S RESTAURANT CELEBRATES MICHELIN RECOGNITION

Bradley’s Restaurant is celebrating recognition for its excellent cooking and value for money in the new 2009 Michelin Guide.

It was awarded Michelin Bib Gourmand status, which is only given to restaurants that offer high-quality food, service and good value for the money and are the Michelin inspectors’ favourites. There are only 25 restaurants in London which have been awarded Bib Gourmand status in 2009, including Galvin’s Bistro Deluxe in Baker Street and Canteen in Camden.

The Michelin Guide said: "Bradley’s has matured nicely over the years and the rejuvenated Hampstead Theatre has given it an extra shot in the arm. The cooking is uncomplicated and nimble; it’s grounded in France but with ingredients from across the British Isles … the fixed price menu, run alongside the more extensive a la carte, represents excellent value, as does the wine list."

Bradley’s set lunch and dinner menu costs £16.50 for three courses from Monday to Wednesday and only £22.50 for three courses from Thursday to Saturday.

Simon Bradley, owner of Bradley’s, is thrilled with the accolade from the Michelin Guide. He said: "The team at Bradley’s works very hard to give our customers food which is carefully sourced, beautifully cooked and meticulously presented, so it’s really rewarding to know that our hard work has paid off.

"Quality of ingredients, cooking, presentation and service have always been at the heart of Bradley’s ethos and the Michelin inspectors have recognised that the combination is indeed a winning one."
